This exhibition returns to the ״Venus״ figurines of the Palaeolithic: small bodies that fit in the palm of a hand. In many, facial features and limbs recede as the breasts, belly and hips come to the fore. The exhibition reads these forms as an expression of an ancient human fascination with the body’s capacity to give life.
